PROJECT NOTES · 8 OCTOBER 2026
Planning furniture for a café or restaurant
Bring your layout, material choices and daily use into the same conversation.
Begin with the layout
Furniture selection starts with the room. Share your floor plan and intended seating count. Consider service routes, how chairs move when occupied and where tables may need to be rearranged. Check local accessibility and safety requirements with your project team.
Choose for the way you work
A compact café and a large restaurant may need different table sizes and seating. Discuss cleaning routines, expected traffic and indoor or outdoor use. Do not assume that an indoor finish is suitable for weather exposure.
Talk through the construction
Ask about the timber, metal frame, joints and base construction. Review a sample before confirming a larger order. Check comfort, stability and how the pieces work together at the intended table height.
Confirm the finish and care
Ask for the finish specification and care instructions for the intended use. Where a food-contact requirement applies, request the relevant product documentation rather than relying on appearance or a general description.
Prepare a useful project enquiry
Send your layout, quantity, dimensions, finish direction and delivery location. Ratna Exports works with domestic B2B enquiries for café, restaurant and commercial furniture projects.
